The monument of Krystyn Szykowski is situated next to the wall of Franciscan-Reformat order’s church dedicated to Antoni Padewski. The monument was raised in 1872 to commemorate the victory over Tatars on the 9th October 1672 in Komarnice, which was gained under the command of guardian priest Krystyn Szykowski.
