Fort VI Iwanowa Góra (Helicha)

Add to planner

This fort was completed in 1914, after the outbreak of the First World War, using the banks of the former earthwork. It was designed on a pentagon plan. In the "neck"  to the left from the axis there were brracks, and on the right an ammunition store. In the enceinte infantry was positioned, protected by a stone parapet. Behind them in the "head" and "shoulders" separated with traverses there were artillery positions. The moat was defended from two caponiers.
