City of Przemyśl is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its mobile application in accordance with the provisions of the Act of April 4, 2019, on the digital accessibility of public entities' websites and mobile applications. This accessibility statement applies to the website visit.przemysl.pl.

The same contact methods can be used to request access to unavailable information or to file complaints regarding the lack of accessibility.

Any individual has the right to request digital accessibility of a specific mobile application or its elements, including those mentioned in Article 3(2) and elements not digitally accessible under Article 8(1). The request should include:

• Contact details of the requesting person.
• Specification of the website, mobile application, or element of a public entity’s website or mobile application that should be made digitally accessible.
• Preferred method of contact.

The public entity should fulfill the request promptly, no later than within 7 days from the date of submission. If this deadline cannot be met, the public entity will immediately inform the requester about the expected completion time. This period cannot exceed 2 months from the date of the request.

If ensuring digital accessibility is not possible, the public entity may propose an alternative means of accessing the information. If the public entity refuses to fulfill the request for digital accessibility or to provide an alternative means of access, the requester may file a complaint regarding the lack of accessibility of the mobile application or its elements. After exhausting the complaint procedure, an application may also be submitted to the Ombudsman.

Architectural Accessibility

The buildings of the City Hall at Rynek 1 and Ratuszowa 1 are equipped with elevators for disabled persons. Other buildings do not have such solutions.

Information on the Availability of a Sign Language Interpreter

Persons experiencing permanent or temporary communication difficulties while handling matters at the City Hall in Przemyśl can use:

• Free assistance from a sign language interpreter. Interpretation services in Polish Sign Language (PJM) and the Sign Language System (SJM) are provided through the Nonverbal Communication System, also known as video interpreting. This service enables real-time sign language translation via video conferencing for conversations between the eligible person and a clerk. The video interpreter is available in the City Hall building at Rynek 1 – General Office – lobby.
• Assistance from an accompanying person, i.e., a person who is at least 16 years old and has been selected by the eligible person to facilitate communication and assist in handling matters.
• Communication support tools, such as the City Hall’s website (www.przemysl.pl), email (kancelaria@um.przemysl.pl), and fax (16 678 64 49).
